A woman sitting on a kitchen counter working on a laptop, with her right hand on the keyboard. She is wearing a dark green blazer and blue jeans. The kitchen has green cabinets, a white tiled backsplash, and two large black woven pendant lights hanging from the ceiling. There is a plant arrangement in the foreground and a ceiling vent is visible.

A woman with wavy brown hair and tattoos on her feet, sitting on a beige armchair in a living room. She is smiling, wearing a black blazer and jeans, with her legs crossed and her hands resting on her knee. The room has gray walls with two gold-framed abstract line art portraits, a white lamp, a small round table, a beige tufted ottoman, and a chandelier with hanging crystals.

How is this even my job?

I spent years as a Registered Nurse before I ever touched a seating chart. Turns out, calmly handling a crisis at 2am and calmly handling a florist who's three hours late require almost identical skill sets. Nursing taught me how to stay steady when everything around me isn't .. and that's the exact energy I bring to your wedding day.

I found my way into event planning through corporate events, of all places, and it didn't take long to realize this was the thing. I loved the logistics. I loved the creative chaos. Mostly, I loved watching people's faces when a day came together exactly the way they'd imagined it, sometimes better.

So I built Taylored Society Events: a place where the spreadsheets and the sentimentality get to coexist, because I've never believed they were opposites in the first place.

My husband Anthony handles the boring-but-essential adult stuff: finances, taxes, and a steady supply of emotional-support coffee. While I lead the planning and creative direction. We're building this together .. me, Anthony, our growing team, and our daughter, who is already unofficially the best-dressed guest at every wedding we plan.

My quirks ..

Believes logistics and emotion were never meant to be separate .. a spreadsheet can absolutely have feelings

Brings the calm of a former surgical nurse to a room that's two hours from "I do" and missing a groomsman

Has strong opinions about seating charts and even stronger ones about linens .. will die on both hills, but the linens hill first

Finds the overlap between "beautifully curated" and "actually fun to be at" .. because a gorgeous wedding your guests are bored at is a failure, no matter how good the florals were

Is fully capable of crying at a first look and immediately cracking a joke about the DJ's fanny pack
